1 month old vaccination

salam all

today my lil QI turns 1 month old.We decided to bring him to clinic for his 2nd vaccination injection.

we choose to get from private clinic because we were tired of waiting the long que at KK - Klinik kesihatan. Luckily , Dr. Zanariah my family doctor said that they willl be making notes in the blue KKM baby book which is supposingly we have to get from KK only . The blue baby book is really important because from there , we can know the past history of the baby especially , when the baby get sick in the future . So , we won't have to recall back all the date / important thing that happened in the past since he was born.

Unfortunately , he is having a low grade fever , 37.3 deg celc which is not a contraindication for the vaccination , but Dr. Zana advised not to have the vaccination today , but to treat the cause of the fever... Ohhh , forgot to tell that QI had balanitis which is inflammation of the glans penis... which is the most distal part of the penis is infected. Thank God there is no pus yet... because since then , i washed with running tap water , not using the wipes anymore. The balanitis is may be due to poor hygienic / allergic reaction to chemicals.. so Dr. Zana gave us a topical antibiotics to be applied to the tip of the penis to to observe the fever trend. If still having fever , maybe she will change to oral antibiotics.. The vaccination wise , she said QI can get complex of vaccination (5 all together) at 2 month old.. so we decide to wait till 2 month old then..:))

these are the pictures i snapped in the car while my hubby were buying me some food for lunch ;)btw , he weighs 4.5 kilo today :) but i forgot to ask her to measure his height :((
